On Thursday, February 18 Cordier Auctions hosted the monthly Business After Hours event in conjunction with the Harrisburg Regional Chamber & CREDC. A record number of 137 individuals attended the event, which was held at Cordier’s auction house in Harrisburg. The event featured a special sneak preview of Cordier’s Winter Antique and Fine Art Auction.
In addition to the special early preview of the 853 lot auction, the event featured contests with prizes. The popular “Guess the Value” contest asked entrants to guess the auction value of a green marble bust of a woman by P. Costagli (Italian, C. 1958). The winner of a $100 gift card to 1700 Degrees Steakhouse was Dave Heffron of Coldwell Banker, who guessed closest to the $1,000 auction value. A second contest challenged attendees to post photos of the event to Facebook and Twitter. Keith Lauver of BioGuard, Inc. was the winner of a $100 gift card to the Millworks.
